Civil Process Unit


Court processes are served in accordance with state statutes, with special attention directed toward prompt and professional personal service. We attempt all civil processes within 24 hours of receipt, and are usually able to execute them within 72 hours.

Processes Served


The Civil Unit receives, receipts, delivers, and returns all legal documents originated by courts. This unit is responsible for the service of all civil processes including:
  • Citations and other notices
  • Protective orders
  • Restraining orders
  • Writs of Attachment
  • Writs of Execution
  • Writs of Garnishment
  • Writs of Possession
  • Writs of Re-entry
  • Writs of Sequestration

Execution of Writs


Execution of writs, from evictions and sequestration to million-dollar executions involving real and personal property, are accomplished with the highest regard for the safety of the public and parties involved. Efforts are taken to minimize the expense of seizing, storing, and selling property.

Criminal Enforcement Unit


The Criminal Enforcement Unit executes all warrants from Class C misdemeanors to felonies, including traffic, child support, contempt of court attachments, and juvenile capias. Assistance is provided to all of the surrounding law enforcement agencies and calls for service from citizens when manpower is short. This unit also focuses on traffic concerns in the outlying areas of this precinct.
