Voter Registration

Applications for voter certificates can be picked up at the Election Administrator's Office at 1410 West Pearl Street in Granbury. To be eligible to register to vote in the State of Texas you must meet the following requirements:

be a U.S. citizen;
be a resident of the county;
be 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months);
not a convicted felon (unless a person's sentence is completed, including any probation or parole)
not declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law

The completed form plus a valid Texas Drivers license or Social Security Card can be brought in person to the Election Administrator's Office to complete the application process. You may also mail the completed form plus a photocopy of your valid Texas Drivers license or Social Security Card to the Election Administrator's Office at:

You may also pick up a voter registration application at many post offices, libraries, Texas Department of Public Safety offices, and Texas Department of Human Services offices throughout the state. Applications can also be download or request online directly from the State of Texas website at the following address: http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections

February 26	Last day for Early Voting.
March 2	Election day.
