No-Drop Policy
Our office has a no-drop policy. If the application for a protective order has been filed with the clerk’s office prior to your decision to drop the protective order, you may be ordered to complete six hours of family violence counseling, at no charge to you, from Mission Granbury. Once completed, you need to supply this office with a certificate of completion. Our office will then file a motion and order for non-suit.

If a protective order has been granted by a judge, you will have to retain a private attorney to vacate the order.

Fees
All filing and service fees will be charged to the respondent.  There is no charge to the applicant when filing a protective order.
