Personnel and Risk Management
Functions of the Personnel Department:
- Provide counsel to Commissioners Court, elected and
appointed officials, and employees in all personnel issues
- Develop and administer employment policies
- Oversee salary/compensation programs
- Provide placement services for employees
- Develop and administer employee orientation and
training programs
- Maintain and ensure compliance with established
policies, rules and regulations
- Maintain and ensure compliance with Federal and State
employment laws and regulations.
